By accessing or using Calcumber Math Journal (the “Software”), you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
“Software” means the Calcumber Math Journal Word Add-In, including updates.
“Free Version” means the edition limited to the first 30 paragraphs per document.
“Pro License” means a paid license key enabling use beyond the Free Version limits.
2. Grant of License
MFis GmbH (“Licensor”) grants you (“User”) a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license as follows:
Free Version. You may use the Software free of charge for personal, educational, and internal use within an organization, limited to the first 30 paragraphs per document.
Pro License. With a valid Pro License, the paragraph limit is removed. All other restrictions in these terms still apply.
3. Restrictions
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, embed, or bundle the Software in other products, applications, websites, or services, nor offer it “as-a-service,” without Licensor’s prior written consent.
If you have not acquired a Pro License, you may use the Software only within the Free Version limits (first 30 paragraphs per document).
You may not modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the Software, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. Ownership
The Software is the intellectual property of MFis GmbH. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Warranty Disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MFis GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, business, or profits) arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Termination
This license terminates upon your breach of these terms. MFis GmbH may suspend or revoke access if it reasonably suspects misuse. Upon termination, you must cease using the Software and uninstall it.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Courts located in Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws.
